None of the above achievements would have been possible without the huge help of our voluntary committee and all our friends and supporters.

There are numerous ways in which you can help:

Prizes

We need prizes for all our events, whether small items for the tombola, or "star" prizes which can be auctioned, e.g. a weekend city break, a week's stay in a holiday home, jewellery etc. We also run silent auctions where guests bid for an item throughout an event. These items might include membership of a health club, sports memorabilia, luxury toiletry gift sets etc.

Advertising

We produce a brochure for each event, which is distributed to all our guests. Advertising helps to recover some of our costs and would enable more money from each event to go to The Royal Marsden Hospital. If you are in a position to place an ad, we should be very grateful for your help.

Sponsorship

If we could get more sponsorship of our events, more of our proceeds would go to The Royal Marsden. At the Ball, for example, sponsorship of our champagne reception, or the wine, or even the dinner itself, would make a great difference to our net result at the end of the evening. Other events include the Grace Cup, 60's Night and Golf Extravaganza. You could always use the event to entertain clients . . .!

Committee membership

if you would like more information on our voluntary committee and believe you have something to contribute, please call Mandie Adams McGuire. Even if you cannot commit to regular meetings in central London but could sell raffle tickets or tickets to the events, please do get in touch.
